On 23rd June SSM students witnessed the proud moment of India. Chandrayaan 3, a follow on a mission of Chandrayaan 2 got launched at Shri Satish Dhawan Space Station, Shriharikota. It has been launched from LMV3. Students were so excited about this event.SSM organized seating arrangements for all of the students of Shri Shivaji High School, Englishmillennium School, Military school, KVK staff, and colleagues to watch this achievement. Students were pre-learned about the process and steps of the mission. As the mission unfolded before their eye, students were amused by the mission’s larger-than-life deeds. No wonder the scientists at ISRO did a great job. When we saw the amusement in the eyes of the students we had no doubts that the next scientists for Space research institutes would be from our organizations. Students gave positive reviews on this experience stating that it’s much more exciting to watch the launching of space rocket live rather than learning about
space in textbooks.
