“Cultivating Ingenuity: High School Department Triumphs in Innovative Agriculture Project Competition, Earns Prestigious Awards”

 

The Innovative Agriculture Project Competition 2024, held as part of the KrishiVed-2024 organized by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli, has successfully contributed to enhancing creativity among students and promoting awareness about modern agricultural technology among farmers. The competition saw active participation, showcasing the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants.

Mahesh Balaji Patil, a student from Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji High School and Junior College, secured the first position in the competition for his innovative project on Olowa cultivation using organic methods. In the Higher Secondary category, Shivam Kishor Jadhav earned the second position for his project on the “Matik Solar Tracking System.”

The awards were presented to the successful students during the KrishiVed-2024 Agricultural Festival organized by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli. Raju Buchchalwar’s Crop Protection project received the first prize, showcasing the excellence in agricultural innovation. A token of appreciation was extended to Indramani Sar, Chief Guest and Director of V.N.M. Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, and Pramod Deshmukh, Chairman of Sanskruti Sanvardhan Mandal, Sagroli, recognizing their valuable contributions to the event.

The students were honored with certificates and mementos, acknowledging their dedication and outstanding efforts in contributing to innovative agricultural solutions. Such initiatives not only encourage students to think creatively and address real-world challenges but also play a crucial role in promoting sustainable and advanced agricultural practices.
