Celebrating Cultural Diversity: District-Level Inter-School Dance Competition
In a spectacular celebration of cultural diversity and talent, 31 schools from the Nanded district
converged at Sagaroli to participate in the district-level inter-school group dance competition
organised by Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji High School’s Dance Department. The event, held on the
occasion of Marathwada Muktisangram Amritmahotsava year, captivated a massive audience of
8500 for hours.
More than 450 enthusiastic contestants showcased their skills in various dance forms like
Gondhal, Jogwa, Lavani, Tribal dance, Gavalan, etc., mesmerising the viewers. An additional
4500 viewers joined in through the live telecast. Gurukul Vidyalaya Dharmabad claimed the
coveted first place, followed by G.P.P. School Singarwadi, Kinwat, in the second position, and
Janata High School, Naigaon, securing the third spot. With incentive prizes, recognition also
extended to Millennium English School, Sagaroli, and Patne Memorial English School, Biloli.
Expressing gratitude, a teacher from Kinwat School emphasised the event's significance,
especially for students from remote areas, praising the organisers for their inclusive approach.
The winning teams were honoured with cash prizes, badges, and certificates, marking a
triumphant moment for Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal and the entire community.
