1,500 Registrations, 316 Job Offers: Sagroli Employment Fair Empowers Rural Youth

In a powerful step towards strengthening rural livelihoods, a Mega Employment Fair was successfully organized on March 12, 2026, at Udyamita Learning Center, Sagroli, marking the centenary year of Karmyogi Babasaheb Deshmukh.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 1,500 registrations from aspiring rural youth. Out of these, 676 candidates actively participated in the recruitment process, reflecting strong enthusiasm and readiness among young job seekers.

A total of 37 reputed companies—including Blinkit, Tata Motors, Sahyadri Farms, Dhoot Transmission, Muthoot Finance, Haier Appliances, and Nature Organics—participated in the fair, conducting on-the-spot interviews and interacting directly with candidates. This created a valuable bridge between rural talent and leading industries.

The results were highly encouraging: 316 candidates received preliminary job offers, while 176 candidates secured final placements—opening new doors of opportunity and career growth for many young individuals.

The inaugural session was graced by Dr. Manohar Chaskar, who प्रेरित the youth to remain persistent, focus on skill development, and maintain a positive outlook. The event also saw the presence of Jitendra Chaudhary, State Project Manager, Reliance Foundation, along with other distinguished guests.

Organized in collaboration with Reliance Foundation’s BCRC initiative, the Employment Fair proved to be a transformative platform—connecting rural youth directly with industry, enhancing employability, and shaping brighter futures.

This initiative stands as a testament to how vision-driven efforts can unlock real opportunities and empower the next generation.
