Women’s FPO – Meeting the Needs of Changing Times
The establishment of women’s Famer producer companies is a matter of pride. In today’s era, women are coming together through women’s Self Help Groups, but the need of the hour is to establish producer companies and engage in various industries and businesses through them. In this context, on November 2, members of the women’s FPO named ‘Rupali Shiv’ in Donagao, Biloli taluka, were guided by Dr. Madhuri Revanwar from the Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal’s Krishi Vidnyan Kendra at Sagroli.
The program, conducted jointly by the Agricultural Department Biloli, aimed at providing guidance for the progress of the company. Currently, the company is involved in agricultural inputs, rice trading, and selling. Under the Smart Project, projects for cleaning, grading, and warehouse have also been approved. The program discussed future plans for the women’s agricultural producer company, providing guidance on food processing, dairy processing, and other related fields. Mrs. Sonatakke, the chairperson of the Dr. Sontakke, Mr. Kamble and Mr. Madale from the Agricultural Department were present at the event.
