Tragically, girls are confined to the confines of their homes, while boys fall prey to exploitative child labour, harmful practices, and the devastating grip of addiction to alcohol and tobacco. SSM has been a beacon of hope for over five decades, providing shelter and solace to these vulnerable children. Whether orphaned, single-parented, or from families burdened by the weight of despair, we offer them a chance at a brighter future. Now, we invite you to join us in this transformative mission.
Initially, our initiative was supported by various government schemes. However, since 2016, we have implemented a new model that fosters greater involvement and responsibility. We ask the parents or guardians of these deserving children to contribute to the extent they can while the remaining costs are raised through our sponsorship programs. Rigorous interviews and assessments help us identify the most needy and motivated children, ensuring that your support reaches those who most need it.
We provide a haven for 80 girls and 150 boys. Their journey begins at our shelter home, where they find love, care, and guidance. Through your invaluable sponsorship, these children can dare to dream and rise to new heights in their careers.
