SSM set up Maharshi Kanad Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) at Sagroli in 2006. The VKC is supported by NASSCOM foundation, New Delhi. The center’s main objective is to spread awareness of information technology and facilitate a platform to enrich knowledge of the people in Sagroli and to facilitate the issue of various documents related to agriculture to the farmers in the village. Unemployed youth with a technical background, farmers, villagers, women, students, teachers of Sagroli and environs take benefit of the VKC. The center has become a model rural knowledge and resource center.

il at Singapore. This summit was a part of the global citizenship announcement of Microsoft’s support for Youth and Opportunity. NASSCOM Foundation has nominated Mr. Shital Joshi, Coordinator of the Village Knowledge Center, Sagroli to attend the summit.
