SS1 - biyane watap @ MukhedM has been devotedly working for the relief of drought victims and taking up preventive measures in the vicinity for the past 6-8 months in every possible way.  Now that the monsoon is predicted to be hopeful, the marginal farmers have set to work for preparing their fields but economically they are so devastated that they have no money for buying the seeds and fertilizers.

SSM has chosen 1400 farmers from 8 Talukas and 25 villages from Nanded district and provided those with seeds and fertilizers free of cost.  The KVK unit of SM took initiative in executing the relief measures.  The distribution programme was arranged in the auspices of Hon’ble MLA, Mukhed, Dr. Tushar Rathod. The Scientists of KVK have guided the farmers on farm practices, on the occasion.
